Short story with a twist

Some stories are very short but they have a twist at the end which make them interesting. this story " bus stop " is also an example of such type of story where the protagonist had been hitting bus stops all week , and he got the one which , seemed to have the least profit potential( profit potential ? of what?? ). He was hoping for a big score that night so he could buy his girlfriend something special on her eighteenth birthday .
